This is an original 1940's Mars Pencil Tin with original Black-Lead Pencils by J.S. Staedtler in Bavaria, Germany.
Tin has a hinged lid, and is in excellent condition with no rust or marring of the design. The pencil set is comprised of twelve 9H pencils, 3 of which have been sharpened. Inset describes 9H as "Diamond Hard" and recommends them "for drawings on stone."
Pencils are dark blue with gold stamped lettering, measuring ≈7" unsharpened. They are in great condition complete with original paper insets and lining.
